What is your position at Henkel?
I’m a Senior Diversity Specialist. My work involves leading the efforts for diversity and inclusion for Henkel North America.

What are your day-to-day responsibilities?
Our vision is to implement the Diversity Strategic Plan across Henkel sites in North America. I make presentations at employee meetings to share the plan and brainstorm ways to improve the culture at each of our sites. We embrace and promote an inclusive environment for all employees. In our global marketplace we must find ways to gain new perspectives that will generate new ideas to drive innovation.

What do you think makes Henkel special?
Henkel has an excellent worldwide reputation. High performers have the opportunity to work abroad on assignment. It is an opportunity for professional and personal growth.

What distinguishes Henkel from other companies?
It is our drive to be the best. We want to find ways to provide products that our customers will love, but mostly it is our employees. I look forward to coming to work each and every day. The support of my managers and co-workers continues to make Henkel a great place to work.

Which projects have you worked on?
The most amazing project is my current one-diversity and inclusion. It is amazing to be able to talk to so many employees, to understand how important it is to them and to see how much it affects our culture. It is great to see how willing people are to share ideas and suggestions. It is making a difference for our community, our culture and our employees that makes my role so very rewarding.
