Rocky Hill, Conn., March 23, 2006 -- Henkel Corporation has announced the first two Advanced Medical Device Adhesive Workshops for 2006. Workshops will be held on April 11th in Waltham, Massachusetts, and on June 21st in Sabena Grande, Puerto Rico.

Henkel Advanced Medical Device Adhesive Workshops provide medical manufacturing, product, and design engineers with adhesive solutions for medical device design and assembly challenges. The first workshop of 2006 will take place at the Doubletree Guest Suites Boston/Waltham. The second workshop will be held at the Henkel Puerto Rico facility. These unique, fully integrated, four to seven hour programs are taught by Henkel engineering and technical representatives with years of experience developing solutions on medical device design and assembly. Medical device adhesive experts will provide detailed presentations on proper joint design for adhesive bonding, adhesive selection criteria, available adhesive chemistries, processing equipment, and Henkel resources. Attendees will benefit from hands-on demonstrations of both adhesives and equipment.
