Henkel Sponsors "NASCAR: The IMAX Experience" at Great Lakes Science Center

The heart-pounding thrills of NASCAR are racing onto the giant screen at the Great Lakes Science Center's Omnimax theater in Cleveland, when "NASCAR: The IMAX Experience" kicks off on September 30. This exciting look at NASCAR is presented by Henkel in North America.
CLEVELAND, Ohio, September 28, 2005 -- The heart-pounding thrills of NASCAR are racing onto the giant screen at the Great Lakes Science Center's Omnimax theater, when "NASCAR: The IMAX Experience" kicks off on September 30. This exciting look at NASCAR is presented by Henkel in North America.

"NASCAR: The IMAX Experience" examines the science behind the speed, the teamwork needed to keep the drivers on track, and the fans who fuel the NASCAR phenomenon. The film features NASCAR drivers Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, and Richard Petty, among others, and features gripping footage of the unpredictable action on the track.

"Because Henkel brands are such an integral part of racing, we wanted to give NASCAR fans the opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at the sport," said Pattie Jacobus, vice president of corporate communications for Henkel. In 2005, Henkel launched its first NASCAR sponsorship, teaming up with driver Greg Biffle and Brewco Motorsports in the NASCAR Busch Series. Biffle is driving the #66 Henkel car in five Busch Series races this season, and Henkel is also an associate sponsor on Biffle's car for an additional 18 races.

As part of Henkel's sponsorship of the film, Greg Biffle's #66 show car will be on display at the Science Center on October 1 - 2, as well as December 8 - 11.

"NASCAR: The IMAX Experience" will run from September 30, 2005 to January 6, 2006 at the Great Lakes Science Center in Cleveland. The Science Center is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tickets and show times are available at the Box Office or by calling 1-866-866-4506 or through the Science Center's website at www.GreatScience.com.
